All the flavors of bulgogi but with ground beef and no marinating time necessary. This quick meal will become a favorite for weeknights, a ton of flavor without a ton of time!
This recipe is made up of ingredients I ALWAYS have in my kitchen. It’s a very humble but comforting dish that will leave you feeling warm and full.
In a small bowl combine 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1 tsp ginger, 1 tbsp mirin, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 1 tsp red pepper flakes. Reserve for later use.
Heat 1 tsp olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 minced garlic clove, saute for about 1 minute.
Add 1 lb ground beef. Break into crumbles with spatula. Brown ground beef, about 3-5 minutes. Drain excess grease.
Stir sauce into beef, cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Serve over rice, garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
