asian stir fried mushrooms

I know mushrooms are at the top of a lot of most hated food lists..but I absolutely love them. They are full of earthy umami flavor and go with so many different cuisines. This recipe highlights mushrooms with asian flavors. I used honey, hoisin sauce, and chili paste…the perfect balance of sweet and spicy!

These were intended to be a side, but served with rice they would make a lovely vegetarian meal. They would be great as a topping on a steak, or burger as well.
